What an AMAZING brace!!

About 8 years ago while showing our Goldens at the Vancouver Island circuit, I (Marva) sat down outside the sporting group ring and started a conversation with a woman who had a young very cute and sweet Pointer with her named Caesar (Can/Am CH Nowwithem Highest Caliber FDJ, JH).  Since Deborah and I had some interest in having another breed join our family I was asking lots of questions about Pointers and their differences from our Goldens.  That woman was Jill Koch , and she gave me lots of great information but I never even asked her name!  On the way home Deb and I talked about Pointers and we decided to do a little more research once we got back to California .   It became clear to us that we definitely wanted to add a Pointer to our household so I looked in the show catalog, found Jill's website, and contacted her asking if she could recommend a breeder in the U.S. for us to contact.  She told me that she had a female littermate to the Pointer I had seen with her on Vancouver Island whose home had fell through, would we be interested?  Jill put us through our paces...requiring some background on us, pictures of our house, our yard, and she even phoned our vet to make sure that this puppy girl was going to a good home!  Suddenly we were negotiating on a co-ownership and a 4 month old puppy was put on a plane to California. We had a Pointer!  That puppy is now Can/Am CH Nowwithem Double Barreled, CD, RE, JH, OA, NAJ , NF , CGC, TT (aka Remi) and is still earning titles in different areas.  Jill, Deb and I decided to breed Remi to Can CH Nowwithem Baby Face Nelson, FDJ (Nelson) and 8 puppies were produced along with the start of Pointgold.  From that litter, Jill kept Can/Am CH Nowwithem Top Caliber, FDJ, JH (Cali) and we kept Nowwithem Pointgold's Gunsmoke, RE, JH, NA, NAJ, OF (Dillon) and Nowwithem Pointgold's ReadyAim, RN, JH, OAJ, OF (Fire) and we co-own with Marsha West, Can/Am CH Nowwithem Pointgold's Masked Man, JH, OA, OAJ, OF (Ranger) who is currently working on his Master Hunter title and we are hoping a field championship will be in his future too.  It's been a wonderful 8 years of Pointer joie de vivre and we've gotten a great side benefit--Jill as a friend and someone we consider family.
